Burial ground and site of possible chapel Although it is suggested "that this is the site of a chapel, no visible traces of such a building now survive, and the earliest tombstone bearing a legible inscription is of early 19th-century date. The records of the Ordnance Survey indicate that no tradition of antiquity attached to this site in the third quarter of the 19th century."

Track Through Castle Wood As small as the Torrisdale estate is, there are still some lovely woodland walks. This particular track passes, what I consider to be, the rear of the castle and on down to the walled garden.
