Burial ground and site of possible chapel

Although it is suggested "that this is the site of a chapel, no visible traces of such a building now survive, and the earliest tombstone bearing a legible inscription is of early 19th-century date. Track Through Castle Wood

As small as the Torrisdale estate is, there are still some lovely woodland walks. This particular track passes, what I consider to be, the rear of the castle and on down to the walled garden.
