Lang Stack is a small uninhabited island located in the Shetland archipelago, situated off the north coast of Scotland. It lies approximately 5 kilometers northwest of the larger island of Papa Stour. The island measures about 400 meters in length and 200 meters in width, with steep cliffs rising up to 80 meters from the sea.

Lang Stack is characterized by its rugged and rocky terrain, with no vegetation or trees present on the island. The cliffs are home to a variety of seabirds, including guillemots, razorbills, and fulmars, making it a popular spot for birdwatching enthusiasts. The surrounding waters are also teeming with marine life, attracting seals and otters.

Access to Lang Stack is difficult due to its remote location and challenging topography. The island can only be reached by boat, and even then, the steep cliffs make it challenging to land safely. As such, it is not a popular tourist destination, and visitors are advised to exercise caution and seek local guidance before attempting to visit.

Lang Stack offers a unique and awe-inspiring natural environment, with its towering cliffs and abundant birdlife. Its isolated location and untouched landscape make it a haven for wildlife and a tranquil spot for those seeking solitude in nature.
