Trusty's Hill is a prominent hill located in the historical county of Kirkcudbrightshire, in southwest Scotland. Situated near the town of Gatehouse of Fleet, the hill rises to an elevation of approximately 146 meters (479 feet) above sea level.

The hill is renowned for its archaeological significance, being the site of a significant Iron Age hillfort. It is believed that the hillfort was constructed around 2,000 years ago, during the late Bronze Age or early Iron Age period. The fort occupies an area of around 3.5 hectares and is surrounded by a series of impressive ramparts, ditches, and stone walls, which indicate its defensive purpose.

Excavations carried out in the mid-20th century revealed a wealth of artifacts, including pottery and metal objects, providing insights into the daily lives and activities of the ancient inhabitants. One of the most significant discoveries was the uncovering of a carved stone known as Trusty's Hill Pictish Symbol Stone, which features a range of intriguing symbols and engravings.

Today, Trusty's Hill attracts visitors interested in both history and natural beauty. The hill offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the picturesque Fleet Estuary. Visitors can explore the well-preserved remains of the hillfort, walking along the ancient ramparts and experiencing a sense of the past. Interpretative panels and signage provide information about the hill's history and significance. Trusty's Hill is a significant archaeological site, offering a glimpse into the rich ancient past of Kirkcudbrightshire and captivating visitors with its scenic charm.
