Isle of Wight Steam Railway - running around at Smallbrook Junction No. 41298 is just running round for the return to Havenstreet. We were transferring to the electric train for the trip to Ryde Pier Head Station. No. 41298 is an Ivatt designed Class 2 2-6-2T built at Crewe in 1951 and was one of a class of 130 (120 being built by British Railways). It was withdrawn in 1967 and after a peripatetic existence came to the Isle of Wight in 2008 and was returned to steam in 2015.
