Static display at Duxford Airfield During the late 1960's The Imperial War Museum was looking for a suitable site for the storage, restoration and eventual display of exhibits too large for its headquarters in London. It settled on RAF Duxford which was about to be decommissioned by the Ministry of Defence. Here we see some of those exhibits.
