St Garmon's parish church, Llanarmon yn Iâl One of Denbighshire's most notable churches, its unusual Georgian character derives from an extensive restoration in 1730. Among its greatest treasures is a brass chandelier made in Bruges in c.1500, and fine memorials to the Lloyd family of Bodidris.

St Garmon's parish church, Llanarmon yn Iâl - monument to Captain Evan Lloyd Evan Lloyd (Efan Llwyd) was a descendant of the Lloyd family of Bodidris who prospered under the Tudors following their decline after the Conquest. An unusual monument of alabaster, it shows only the legs and bust of a reclining effigy. The inscription in Welsh lists the offices held by Evan Lloyd: Deputy Lieutenant, Keeper of the Rolls and Justice of the Peace in Denbighshire. His military rank of Captain was acquired serving King Charles I in Ireland. He died in Anglesey in 1637.
