Derelict Cottages at Evan Water. When originally built, this cottage at Longbedholme must have been an idyllic place to live - on the banks of Evan Water where it tumbles over the rocks.
Now, sandwiched between the B7076, the M74 motorway, and the railway lines it would be unbearable, with the incessant din of traffic thundering by 24 hours a day.

Je Ne Comprend Pas This object is at the side of a cycleway formed from the northbound carriageway of the old A74 dual carriageway. There is a small sign at the bottom left that doesn't seem to explain this object but does have the inscription "Je ne comprend pas" and a few other scrawls.
