Bwlch is a small village situated on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. It is located about 5 miles southeast of the town of Llangefni and approximately 3 miles north of the popular seaside village of Benllech. It is largely a fen habitat, unusual for Anglesey, and many species of birds have been seen here (87 according to this list <span class="nowrap"><a title="https://www.landscapebritain.co.uk/british-nature-reserves/gwynedd/cors-goch-anglesey/" rel="nofollow ugc noopener" href="https://www.landscapebritain.co.uk/british-nature-reserves/gwynedd/cors-goch-anglesey/">Link</a><img style="margin-left:2px;" alt="External link" title="External link - shift click to open in new window" src="https://s1.geograph.org.uk/img/external.png" width="10" height="10"/></span> ; on this winter visit I saw raven, sparrowhawk and snipe among others). This must have once been part of the road which runs northwards from Llanbedrgoch and been left out when the road was straightened; the road's new course can be seen at the end.  Sat-navs think it is still possible to loop round but any driver trying to do this will find themselves in a thicket of brambles.
