Sean Charraig is a prominent coastal feature located in Argyllshire, Scotland. It is a picturesque headland and point that extends into the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The name "Sean Charraig" is derived from the Gaelic language, meaning "old rock," which is a fitting description for this geologically significant formation.

The headland is characterized by rugged cliffs that rise steeply from the sea, providing a dramatic backdrop to the coastal scenery. These cliffs are composed of ancient rock formations, displaying layers of sedimentary deposits that have been shaped by the forces of erosion over millions of years. This makes Sean Charraig a site of geological interest for scientists and enthusiasts alike.
