Tarbet Bay Entering the bay aboard the MV Western Isles, a boat too large to dock at the small jetty. On this occasion a small boat was due to come out to collect some goods, but it never appeared, so the skipper made an about turn and we sailed away again.

Beached whale on the shores of Loch Nevis The skipper of the MV Western Isles suggested we should keep watch for a whale, and here it is. A rather unique boat belonging to Tom McClean, who has stated his aim to cross the Atlantic in the vessel. His outdoor adventure centre can be seen in the background.
