During the pandemic in 2020 Leamington's Parade was closed to traffic to enable social distancing (a great improvement). Many people had congregated at bus stops so the routes were changed (presumably by the highway authority, Warwickshire County Council). Bus stands were sited in Kenilworth Road behind the camera, and in Beauchamp Road ahead, making the Gardens a pleasant de facto bus interchange. This path became at times a busy pedestrian thoroughfare as passengers found their way between stands A, B, C and D.
