Rosebush Reservoir, Morvil The reservoir was created with the building of the dam in 1932. In the foreground is the trackbed of the Rosebush-Fishguard railway, which was constructed in 1886 and closed in 1937, having been superseded by the line through Wolf's Castle. To the right is the ruin of the long-abandoned Greenway-fâch cottage. It's hard to understand how such a name arose in a parish (Morvil) where only 10% of the population spoke any English in 1891.
