Aldercar

Gated track to Witch Wood It appears to be concrete, with this surface sweeping round from Buckley's Lane from the left, not from the right. Witch Wood contained the bomb dump for RAF Earls Colne, with a similar concrete track taking a more direct route from the airfield to the north end of the wood. It looks like this was a back-up route in the event of the other route being bombed. Or perhaps just the bomb delivery route. The rusty feature looks like a rectangular tank with a hump which can't all be brambles to the left. There was nothing here in 2000, so just agricultural, not military.
