Biomass storage silo, Hull Seen from Hedon Road, the 49m-high biomass storage silo enables trains to Drax Power Station to be loaded with wood pellets imported from North America and Europe into the port of Hull. Built in 2013, it still carries a 29m-high banner dating from 2016, promoting Hull's 2017 stint as UK City of Culture.

Ziggy-Zaggy Field The field has been harvested within the last week.  It's situated between Burstwick Drain to the north and the remnants of Hedon Haven to the south - a former navigable waterway that was filled in around 50 years ago after it had silted up.

Vibrant villas, near Hedon The westernmost pair of Glencoe Villas, a row of seven terraced houses on the north side of A1033 Hull Road between Salt End and Hedon. The right hand house has long been colourfully painted; only relatively recently has its neighbour been similarly brightly-decorated.
