Cattle among old plough strips at High Worsall The intention was to investigate the ruins of the old church, a part of which can be seen centre picture, but the state of the ground was sufficient to deter this less than intrepid contributor.  The ridge and furrow indicates the ground around the original medieval village. The site was excavated by Time Team back in 1998.
