Upper slopes of Carnedd y Filiast An estate road approaches Carnedd y Filiast circuitously before nearing the summit from the south only then to veer to the right and avoid it. Mountain walkers who have used the road to climb the hill clearly leave the road and have worn a faint path in the heather as they go directly to the highest point; the photographer did the same.
