The wood is characterized by its diverse range of tree species, including oak, ash, beech, and birch. These trees create a dense canopy, providing shade and shelter for the abundant wildlife that calls the forest home. Visitors can expect to encounter various species of birds, such as woodpeckers, thrushes, and owls, as well as small mammals like foxes, badgers, and squirrels.
