Owain Glyndwr Hotel in Corwen The Owain Glyndwr Hotel is a Grade II-listed inn along the A5 in Corwen, it is named after the Welsh national hero Owain Glyndŵr. The hotel was built in the mid-eighteenth century on the site of an earlier building dating to at least 1329. It was supposedly the site of the first public Welsh Eisteddfod in 1789.
