Path, Binning Wood Improved path between two of the clearings. The woodland was felled in World War II and reputed to have supplied airframe material for Mosquitoes. I remember my first visit in 1979, putting on, not competing in an orienteering event; the trees were young and dense and there were few rhododendrons.

Clearing, Binning Wood One of the three clearings that were recreated when the wood was replanted after being felled in World War II. There is a pattern of radiating rides from each one which is confusing but many of the rides are becoming overgrown or ill defined in the maturing woodland.
