A Fine Crop The apple trees along the hedge still have a heavy drop of fruit. We could hardly believe the number of Blackbirds who were feasting on the windfalls. Normally Blackbirds are very territorial and will try to chase off any others, but there's no need here as there is plenty for all. Naturally they declined to stay and be photographed, however!
