Part of the Wye Valley Walk from Rhayader As I walked forward the cow nearest moved away, followed by the others, except for the brown one facing the camera who seemed to take exception to my being there, and stood her ground bellowing at me. From this angle I couldn't see whether it was indeed a cow. Armed with the confidence that if it was a dangerous bull it wouldn't be allowed to graze on a public footpath, I walked on flapping my arms and shouting. To my relief it eventually ran off to follow the others.
