Little Ponton and Stroxton is a civil parish located in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. Situated approximately 3 miles south of Grantham, the parish covers an area of around 1,200 acres. The two villages of Little Ponton and Stroxton are separated by the A1 road, and the parish is surrounded by picturesque countryside, with rolling hills and farmland.

Holy Cross church, Great Ponton, Lincs. The splendid tower is about 80 feet tall with a fiddle weather-vane is a familiar landmark seen from the A1. Built in 1519 by Anthony Ellys, merchant of the staple of Calais it joins 13th and 14th century architecture of the earlier church.
