Hayton and Mealo is a civil parish located in the county of Cumberland, in the northwest of England. The parish is situated about 5 miles to the northeast of the town of Aspatria and covers an area of approximately 12 square miles.

Hayton, the larger of the two villages, is home to a population of around 500 residents. The village is known for its picturesque setting amidst the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, with rolling hills and lush green fields surrounding it. It boasts a charming mix of traditional stone-built houses, some dating back several centuries, alongside more modern properties.
