Feltwell is a civil parish located in the county of Norfolk, England. Situated approximately 10 miles southwest of Thetford, it covers an area of around 16 square miles. The parish is made up of two main settlements: Feltwell Village and Feltwell New Town.

Feltwell Village, the older part of the parish, is a traditional English village with a rich history dating back to the Roman times. It is characterized by its picturesque thatched cottages, charming village green, and a 12th-century church dedicated to St. Nicholas. The village offers a range of amenities, including a primary school, a village hall, a post office, and a few local shops.

Feltwell New Town, on the other hand, was established during World War II to accommodate the nearby airbase, RAF Feltwell. The airbase has been home to various squadrons over the years and is still in operation today. Feltwell New Town has a more modern feel, with a mix of military and civilian housing, as well as some local businesses and services.

The parish is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with open fields, woodland areas, and the River Wissey running through it. This makes Feltwell an ideal location for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, and birdwatching.

Overall, Feltwell offers a blend of historical charm and modern convenience, making it a desirable place to live for both locals and those connected to the nearby military base.
