Metheringham railway station, Lincolnshire Opened as "Blankney and Metheringham" in 1882 by the Great Northern Railway and Great Eastern Railway on their joint line from Lincoln to Sleaford, this station closed in 1961 and was demolished. It was rebuilt and reopened as "Metheringham" in 1975, with minimal facilities.
