Thetford Warren Lodge is a historical site located in Thetford, Suffolk, England. It is a well-preserved example of a medieval rabbit warren lodge, dating back to the 15th century. The lodge is situated within Thetford Forest, which covers an area of approximately 18,730 hectares.

The lodge was primarily used as a base for managing the rabbit warren, which was an important industry in medieval times. Rabbits were bred and farmed for their meat, fur, and skins, which were valuable commodities at the time. The lodge provided accommodation for the warren keeper and his assistants, who were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warren.

The building itself is a two-story structure made of flint and brick, with a thatched roof. It features a central chimney stack and two small chambers on each floor. The ground floor was used for storing equipment and housing the warren keeper's animals, while the upper floor served as living quarters.

Thetford Warren Lodge is a significant heritage site, as it provides a glimpse into the agricultural and economic practices of the medieval period. It has been well-preserved over the centuries and is now managed by English Heritage, who maintain the site and provide information for visitors. The lodge is open to the public and offers guided tours, allowing visitors to explore the historical significance of the building and its surrounding area.
