Alpheton Sts Peter & Paul Over a half-mile from the village centre, next to the old Alpheton Hall, this fine church was snatched from ruins only last century. There is a fine 15th c. south doorway carved with pomegranates and roses in the porch, alongside a decorated holy water stoup. The 15th c. porch is made from oak but over time has been considerably repaired.
