Walking in Camperdown Camperdown Country Park used to be a golf course. Now the former greens are wild meadows with narrow paths mown into them for convenient walking. Over and over again one encounters these green lanes between tall trees. Lots of dog walkers around, but also lots of space to get lost.

Balgarthno Stone Circle (1) Confusingly, although the information board describes this as a recumbent stone circle, it isn't a Recumbent Stone Circle. It is a circle composed of stones which, having (all but one) fallen over, are all recumbent, rather than a circle of the type found only further north and east, featuring a recumbent setting of recumbent and flankers. New Traffic Signals Ahead In this case the signals have been erected to control the flow of traffic on the Kingsway, which is Dundee's ring road and the main A90 from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. I always think that putting lights on a roundabout indicates a failure of the concept of a roundabout. They might as well have put lights at an ordinary crossroads from the outset. In the background is a new ASDA supermarket.
