"Please keep to the public footpath" ... "Footpath closed". I am being a tiny bit disingenuous in drawing attention to this apparent nonsense, because there is a public footpath accessible here, Teigngrace footpath 8 along the banks of the River Teign, and you can see walkers on it. But we had intended to walk along the path behind the barrier, and look forward to doing so again when it has been turned into a well-surfaced cycle route.
