Track onto the marshes

Heading northwards past an old WW2 radio hut which is now derelict. Some maps still show radio masts here but as you see they have gone. The heap is a pile of old bricks which are being used to repair a nearby section of the Saxon Shore Way.

View from a very small hill

This is all of 10 metres high, but that's enough to give a wide view out over the marshes. A favourite place for bird watching, a wooden hide is visible beyond the gorse bush.
