North Bishop is a small uninhabited island located approximately 4 miles off the coast of Pembrokeshire in Wales. Situated in the Irish Sea, it is part of the larger Bishop and Clerks group of islands. North Bishop covers an area of around 12 acres and has a maximum elevation of about 50 feet.

The island gets its name from its proximity to the larger Bishop Rock and Clerks, which are also uninhabited. North Bishop is primarily composed of rocky cliffs, with some grassy areas and a few scattered shrubs. The coastline is rugged and features several small coves and rocky outcrops.

Due to its remote location and challenging access, North Bishop is rarely visited by humans. However, it is a haven for wildlife. The island is an important breeding ground for seabirds, including puffins, razorbills, and guillemots. It is also home to populations of grey seals, who use the island's beaches for resting and pupping.

In terms of human history, North Bishop has little to offer. There are no structures or ruins on the island, suggesting it has never been permanently inhabited. However, its location near the busy shipping lanes of the Irish Sea has made it a hazard for ships throughout history, and the island's rocky shores have claimed several vessels.

Overall, North Bishop is a picturesque and untouched island, providing a sanctuary for wildlife and offering a glimpse into the rugged beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast.
