Former coastguard station, St Margaret's Bay This former coastguard station, now called 'The Lookout', apparently boasts a Second World War bunker hidden 35ft below ground once housing the Magnetron radar system which played a key role in the 1940 Battle of Britain. After being decommissioned in 1994 it became a private residence which until fairly recently included a tea room. The Dover Patrol Memorial can be seen in the background.
