Forest road climbing towards Coire na Fuaraig The road is on the north side of a minor hill, Tom a' Chor and is climbing to the east. It's clearly a forestry road and will probably have served as access for a gravel pit but its current major use must be by mountain bikers.

A beautiful specimen of a favourite toadstool. This is the Fly Agaric or Amanita muscaria. It's a most familiar toadstool first coming to our attention in children's books. It is highly poisonous, charged with muscimol and muscarino, one hallucinogenic and the other sweat inducing. I'm afraid you don't get a choice as to which one kicks in first!
