Mid Hill is a prominent hill located in the county of Caithness, in the northern part of Scotland. It is part of the broader landscape of the Scottish Highlands, characterized by rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and heather-covered moors. Mid Hill stands at an elevation of approximately 234 meters (768 feet) above sea level, making it a relatively modest peak compared to some of the higher mountains in the region.

Despite its moderate height, Mid Hill offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the nearby towns of Thurso and Wick, as well as the rugged coastline of the North Sea. The hill is a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, who come to explore its network of walking trails and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Scottish countryside.

Mid Hill is also home to a variety of wildlife, including red deer, mountain hares, and a diverse array of bird species. The hill's diverse ecosystem and unique geological features make it a valuable natural resource and an important part of the local ecosystem in Caithness.
