Cruach a' Chaise is a prominent hill/mountain located in the region of Argyllshire, Scotland. It is situated in the southern part of the Argyll Forest Park within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

Standing at an elevation of approximately 723 meters (2,372 feet), Cruach a' Chaise offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Its summit provides a vantage point to witness the beauty of Loch Long and the nearby Glen Loin. On a clear day, one can also catch glimpses of Loch Lomond and even the distant mountains of the Scottish Highlands.

The hill/mountain is popular among hikers and outdoor enthusiasts as it presents various challenging and rewarding routes to the summit. The most common starting point for ascending Cruach a' Chaise is from the small village of Arrochar. From there, walkers can follow well-marked paths through the forested slopes and heather-covered terrain, gradually gaining elevation until reaching the peak.

The ascent is known to be moderately difficult, requiring a reasonable level of fitness and proper hiking gear. However, the effort is greatly rewarded with stunning views and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit.

Cruach a' Chaise is also home to diverse flora and fauna, including heather, bilberries, and a variety of bird species. The surrounding area features an array of other outdoor activities, including mountain biking, fishing, and wildlife spotting.

Bridge to Hilary's Wood Crossing Glen Finart Burn near Craig Hoyle Farm.

The wood was created by friends of the late Hilary Smith who competed for  Scotland at world level in orienteering. Hilary lived in a cottage near the wood and was an instructor at the nearby Ardentinny Outdoor Education Centre. Friends came from all over Scotland over several years to plant native trees to establish the wood in Memory of Hilary who died in a car accident at Gairletter in November 1992.
