Part of the Herefordshire Wye Could this scene be more Herefordshire? A muscular river, lush meadows, rolling fields and a decent sized herd of Herefords grazing placidly on the far bank.

Tipi's beside the River Wye What a great spot for a campsite. I like a tipi. This is presumably a site used by paddlers heading downstream in Canadian canoes or kayaks who stop off overnight.

The former Ballingham railway station. The relatively modest buildings of this little used station on the Ross-on-Wye to Hereford line have been greatly extended to form this house. The station was actually nearer to Carey than Ballingham! The photograph was taken from the road bridge that still spans the railway route.
