Badger's Holt - chicken coops and predator One of the interesting things about cats is that they are obligate carnivores. Your dog can survive on a vegetarian diet but a pure vegetarian diet will kill your cat (not so sure about curiosity!). Cats need at least some meat protein in their diet.

Pound, Laughter Tor A drystone pound to the south of Laughter Tor. This was used during the annual round-up of sheep on the moors. It is said that the moormen knew how many sheep could fit in this pound so when it was full it saved them the bother of counting. The fields in the background are across the West Dart valley near Hexworthy.
