Hemley: All Saints Like All Saints at nearby Waldringfield, Hemley church has a Perpendicular brick tower. "The W window and the bell-openings are of brick too. Nave and chancel mostly of 1889. The blocked N doorway seems in order and of c 1300" (Nikolaus Pevsner). The red bricks were drained of colour on a dank morning at the end of January.
