Ford on the River Stiffkey at Houghton St Giles This is one of three fords on the River Stiffkey just south of the village of Houghton St Giles. The ford is found very close to the Pilgrim Way which passes on the former Great Eastern railway line which ran from East Dereham to Wells-next-the-sea. This is one of three fords on the River Stiffkey just south of the village of Houghton St Giles. The ford is found very close to the Pilgrim Way which passes on the former Great Eastern railway line which ran from East Dereham to Wells-next-the-sea.
