Mural on alleyway wall in Wem This fabulous mural has no information board to explain it. It seems to be celebrating pubs serving the old Wem Ales brews. Greenal Whitley was in control of a Wem Ales when it closed the Wem brewery in 1988. However Hanby Ales continued the brewing tradition in Wem in new premises on Wem Industrial Park in 1989.
