Trees near Kings Ripton at dusk Close to the edge of the Fens, this is known by the locals as big sky country (which is positive spin on it&#039;s very flat). Having been most of the day in a class room on a course, I was on a short drive to where I was staying the night and passed this line of trees, so I turned the car round and got my tripod out. It is very flat round here, but you can see from the tree trunks that there is a slope from right to left, on the course the tutor had made a joke about us not worrying about the floods as we were on high ground.
