Pickworth Great Wood is a large ancient woodland located in the county of Rutland, England. Covering an area of approximately 50 hectares, the wood is predominantly made up of oak, ash, and beech trees, as well as a variety of other native species. The woodland is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its diverse flora and fauna, including rare plants such as the toothwort and the bird's nest orchid.

This particular one has been trimmed to commemorate the first landing on the moon in 1969. The initials NA (for Neil Armstrong) can be seen, as well as an outline of a spaceman holding a flag on a crescent moon. The Adult woman standing next to the tree gives a good idea of how large these yews are.
