M3 at Fleet Services The M3 motorway runs for 59 miles from Sunbury-on-Thames to Southampton. Construction started 1968 and was finally completed in 1995. The Winchester bypass through Twyford Downs was the most controversial section to be built.

Hartfordbridge: Eastbound A30 This is the eastbound A30 on the approach to Hartford Bridge that takes the road over the River Hart. This is the original single carriageway road. When it was made into a dual carriageway the westbound road went over a new bridge.

The security has been tightened up significantly and it would not be possible to access the motorway from here without some form of security pass. The road from which this was taken is called Pale Lane.
