Railway bridge, Finchdean An unsatisfactory bridge for pedestrians trying to get to the start of a footpath on the other side, with limited visibility and no verge or pavement. Also unsatisfactory as an item of railway infrastructure, with no identification plate at road level, an illegible height sign, and cursory attention to the steel structure maintenance. This view is 2013, nothing has improved in 2021, in fact worse. Is the idea to wait for a high vehicle to give it a good clout, and claim for bridge replacement on insurance?

Bushes with ruin The ruin is not very obvious at the right. No maps yet found of any date show it. Earlier 21st century aerial views, unfortunately low definition, show a long narrow feature running roughly north - south. This is not apparent in later views, but fragments of something appear in not quite the same place (as this photograph shows), suggesting something has been broken up.
