This odd metal shed looks almost like the top half of a traditional caravan - but what it is really and why it is here is a mystery.

Somewhat unlikely that anyone reads or needs to heed this warning - I've never seen a vehicle there, much less a high speed one! At this point two woods meet, separated by the bridleway and the line of high tension power cables overhead.

It seems somewhat strange that all these concrete roads were built in the middle of woods. Presumably they had a purpose at one time - possibly related to the derelict buildings further into the wood.

The remains of what was once quite a large building. There are also remnants of several smaller buildings and one relatively complete but roofless outbuilding.

This wide metalled track leads all the way down to the car park at the other end. The track continues behind the photographer, but as only a smaller, rough bridleway. Other tracks lead off to the left and right.
