Forestry Commission warning sign Somewhat unlikely that anyone reads or needs to heed this warning - I've never seen a vehicle there,  much less a high speed one!

Four way junction in Lodge Copse It seems somewhat strange that all these concrete roads were built in the middle of woods.  Presumably they had a purpose at one time - possibly related to the derelict buildings further into the wood.

Derelict building The remains of what was once quite a large building.  There are also remnants of several smaller buildings and one relatively complete but roofless outbuilding.

Main bridleway through Bucknell Wood This wide metalled track leads all the way down to the car park at the other end.  The track continues behind the photographer,  but as only a smaller, rough bridleway.  Other tracks lead off to the left and right.

Mushroom carved from tree stump This is quite small (approximately 2 feet high) and off a small path,  so you can  only see it when you're almost on top of it.
