The public right of way across what is currently being developed as an industrial estate has been diverted around the perimeter. The path gives access to Dean Wood. To the right is a caravan storage site.

There has been a barrier at this point to prevent vehicles cutting along the public byway from Asquith Avenue to the Nepshaw Lane industrial estate. But it has been removed.

Horsfall Street, Morley

Beneath the 20mph sign it says 'Ingles'. That could confuse Spanish speaker who may feel excluded. The road leads to Ingle Avenue, Grove, Court, etc., so presumably the area is known locally as 'The Ingles'. On the corner is a GO Local convenience store, formerly Top Shop SE2528 : Top Shop - Asquith Avenue. Two cyclists had paused for refreshment.

An old-style Board school, built in 1901 as an infant school, still in its original use as part of an expanded school offering age 3-11 provision. See also SE2528 : Morley Victoria Primary School.

Morley Victoria Primary School - datestone

The school's website says it was opened in 1901, though this foundation stone has the date 1895, and I find it hard to believe that it would have taken over five years to erect the single-storey building, even in those days. The architects are given as T A Buttery and S B Birds - not a well-known firm, though Buttery was responsible for a nearby chapel of the same date SE2427 : Former Bruntcliffe Primitive Methodist Chapel.

Otherwise known as Morley Bottoms, this is an area that was cleared of slum housing in the 1930s and never rebuilt. It is now at least de-facto a public open space.

Part of a former woollen mill, the rest of which has been demolished for more modern housing. It looks to have been converted to apartments.

Rehoboth burial ground, Dawson Hill, Morley

Rehoboth Congregational Chapel was built in 1835. The chapel itself closed in the 1960s and was demolished a long time ago; its graveyard is unfenced but rather overgrown, especially at the west end.
