An icy Cotswold road Ungritted icy country roads on the Cotswolds made for an interesting journey this morning, particularly at nearby Aylworth where I negotiated a steep icy road, fortunately there were no other vehicles on the road at the time.

Lichen Quite a lot of the branches on the tree in <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4639005">SP1219 : Village Tree</a> are showing leaf die-back and this heavy growth of Lichen, possibly Usnea strigosa or Usnea articulata.
