Madame's Coppice is a picturesque wood located in the county of Shropshire, England. Covering an area of approximately 50 hectares, it is nestled within the rolling countryside, offering visitors a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The wood is predominantly composed of native deciduous trees, including oak, beech, and birch, which create a stunning display of colors during the autumn season. The dense canopy of foliage provides a haven for a variety of wildlife, such as deer, foxes, and a plethora of bird species, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers.

Madame's Coppice is crisscrossed by several well-maintained footpaths, allowing visitors to explore the wood at their own pace. These paths wind their way through the ancient woodland, leading to secluded clearings and hidden streams. Along the way, one can discover a diverse range of plant life, including wildflowers, ferns, and mosses, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The wood is also steeped in history, with remnants of an old charcoal burning industry still visible. These remnants serve as a reminder of the area's past and offer an insight into the traditional methods of production that once took place within the wood.

Whether it's a leisurely stroll, a picnic in a peaceful glade, or an opportunity to immerse oneself in nature, Madame's Coppice is a captivating woodland that offers a serene and enchanting experience to all who visit.
