Former portico, Hodnet An unusual sight, the surviving three-and-a-half Ionic columns and fragment of pediment from Joseph Bromfield's Apley Castle (built 1794-97, demolished 1955),  brought to Hodnet in 1970 and placed in alignment with the main entrance to the hall.

Gateway, Hodnet Entrance to Hodnet Hall, dated 1887, probably by Anthony Salvin in a neo-Jacobean style. It has a broken pediment with a ball finial, heavily rusticated voussoirs, and a keystone with Ionic volutes. Grade II listed.
