Track junction, Arlington Estate These are access tracks in the Arlington estate. The one straight on is also a public footpath that goes eventually to Chirwell, whilst the one to the right zig-zags up the hillside to emerge onto the main road at a lodge.

Incomplete suspension bridge at Arlington Court There was a plan for a dramatic approach to Arlington Court, which involved spanning the valley with a suspension bridge.  These two piers were all that got built; they lie within the grounds.

The structure visible on the far side of the lake is one of the towers erected in order to build a very grand suspension bridge. Visitors would have had to cross the bridge in order to reach the main house. However the structure was never finished.
